A set of mobile serious games to promote healthy living and eating in children. The game is made of a main part, which uses RPG and customization mechanics to incentivize players to complete quests, and a set of games that are played to gain experience and virtual coins. The games are related to specific behaviours that the player should learn: from physical exercise, to healthy eating.
The main game uses RPG mechanics such as experience points, experience levels and virtual coins to promote the completion of the inner games. A full customization system is included, with items that are earned by completing quests.
This game promotes walking through geolocation services. It is a reenvisioning of the classic Qix game, but using real movement to create and enclose shapes.
This game asks questions about healthy living and eating, using a touch interface for interaction.
This game uses the smartphone's camera to detect barcodes of the products that the player finds. The aim of the game is to photograph the food that is available in the house, so to detect healthy habits.
